Anthony qualified at Birmingham University Dental Hospital in 1988. Designing stunning new smiles whilst focusing on your needs and wants to achieve your most desired and self-assured image, using highly sophisticated restorative and cosmetic dental procedures. Anthony’s passion for his work is reflected in the many pre and post operative images around his dental office, his ability to change his patients feeling of self-worth via the new smile he has created for them is second to none.
Manoj qualified at Birmingham University Dental Hospital in 1984. Gifted in dental art, restoring smiles with revolutionary procedures in dental implantology and highly accredited within the area of Staffordshire and beyond for his friendly, calming manner and clever use of technology. He attributes much of his direction and enthusiasm to the co-operation and trust that his patients have in him. Manoj creates new people with new smiles, showing them the road to a better, more confident life.
Francesca qualified at Birmingham University Dental Hospital in 1989. Creating spectacular new smiles with orthodontic procedures including the wonderful new Invisalign® system, Francesca excels in the creation of enhanced facial shape and has the ability to restructure misaligned smiles with the most up to date and pain free techniques. To optimize your mouth makeover, she also offers facial rejuvenation procedures with dermal fillers to diminish facial lines and wrinkles. Francesca is now a Platinum Elite Provider for the Invisalign system.
Gary qualified at at the University of Withwatersand, South Africa 1991. Having specialized in Endodontics (root canal treatment) since 1998, Gary has worked in Harley Street and many of the most prestigious dental offices in and around Greater Manchester providing solutions to the most complex challenges of root canal therapy. Gary is currently completing a Masters of Clinical Dentistry degree and we are very proud to have Gary as part of our professional team offering his exemplary services.

Alison Warneken graduated from Birmingham Dental Hospital and School in 1993 and joined the Royal Navy, completing 10 years service working in Portsmouth, Scotland, Gibraltar, Canada and Italy. Alison’s interest in endodontics started during her service with the Navy whilst working alongside an endodontic specialist for a year in 1997 and has purposefully pursued courses and information on endodontics to improve knowledge and excel practically in the field of endodntics. Her commitment to this field of dentistry has gained her a reputation to take internal referrals from her colleagues. Alison left the Navy to spend time with her family and moved to Derby working in general dentistry for 3 days a week and spending the rest of her time, limited to endodontics and studying for postgraduate endodontic qualifications at Chester University.
Alison enjoys the outdoors and is a keen but frustrated horse rider, having to sell her beloved horse last year, so as to commit more time to her career and family.

Tim Malins qualified in dentistry (BDS) at the University of Liverpool in 1976 gaining the University & Hospital prizes in the final examinations.
Following Hospital jobs in the North West of England, including a period as a lecturer at Manchester Dental School, he then completed his Medical and Surgical qualifications at Charing Cross Hospital in London. He graduated with Honors in 1986. He then underwent further Post Graduate training including a six month fellowship at Columbus State University, Ohio in the USA. During his Post Graduate training he gained an FDSRCS and FRCS (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) along with a number of national prizes for his research activity. In 1993, having completed his Post Graduate training at Guys Hospital, he then accepted the post of Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and is the Lead Clinician in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery both at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and Stafford Hospitals. Mr Malins is on General Medical Council list of Specialists in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and also the Specialist list of the General Dental Council in Oral Surgery. Mr Malins has had extensive training in Oral Medicine and holds a certificate of Post Graduate training in Oral Surgery & Oral Medicine. He has published numerous papers on various aspects of Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine and is an active Under Graduate Trainer to Leeds, Sheffield and Birmingham Dental Schools. He is also a Regional Post Graduate Trainer in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons.

Helen Westley has been providing her services here at Clayton since 2004. Helen lives in Shrewsbury with her husband Charles and two children Adam and Laura, Duke the King Charles and Bonnie the cat. Helen has worked in a variety of NHS and private clinics throughout her career and for two years, taught undergraduate dental hygienists and therapists at Birmingham University.
A typical day at CCDC for Helen normally includes routine scale and polishing, preparation for advanced dental treatment, fissure sealing services for children to aid the prevention of tooth decay and cosmetic stain removal treatments.
Helen’s work at CCDC allows her to continually update herself with the latest research and new technology and means that her professional continual development is in line with the current guidelines from the General Dental Council (our governing body). This Autumn Helen will be attending a four day course at the Eastman Dental Hospital in Advanced Non Surgical Periodontal Therapy which will be a further development in allowing her to offer her patients the most relevant and contemporary treatment on route to a healthy and well cared for mouth.
Sue has been part of the team at CCDC since 1984. She initially began her career as a Dental Nurse and following 3 years providing clinical support to Dr Popat, she moved into an administrative role within the group. Sue was appointed as Practice Manager in 1989 taking on the responsibility of running what was then a 4 practice group. Over the years she has witnessed many changes to the structure of the business along with advancements in technology and the ever increasing range of treatments offered to our patients. Drs Dash and Popat have supported Sue throughout her career continually allowing her to update her skills and knowledge through our Personal Development Programme. In her spare time Sue can be found in her wellington boots caring for and riding her horse, Tom. When time allows she loves to travel and she has a passion for all things Italian, including shoes (what woman doesn’t) and Fabio Cannavaro – the only two words in her football vocabulary!
Having qualified in 1989 at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield Jenny has been working within private practice for nearly 20 years, 6 of those years here at Clayton Cosmetic Dental Centre. Jenny lives in Butterton, Staffs with Steve her husband, Thomas and Abigail, her two children.
